It is used by sports professionals and athletes to monitor their SpO2 levels and pulse. A SpO2 reading of 95% or greater is considered normal, however, a SpO2 reading of 92% or less shows poor blood saturation levels. Insufficient saturation is an indication of adverse health conditions like shortness of breath, chest pain, and increased heart rate.
